Most MBA Colleges are profiled based on placement records, revenues, research, consulting, professor and dean power, affiliations, associations, etc. Those seem like good indicators of how successful you would be if you went to that school. But not much faith can be placed on rankings that do not factor in student experiences. So how do you find out if a school is really a good one? Should you ask one student? Should you conduct a survey of at least 30 of them? Should you talk to alumni? Prospective students or candidates of a prestigious school will always have a great opinion of it. Current students of average schools will have the best opinions as it may have surpassed their expectations. Alumni of below average schools will sing its praises (at times) because of a high level of nostalgia.

So how would you find out whether the school you are about to invest your time, effort and money in is really worth the experience?

You cannot validate the worth of a school by what counselors say, what the schools’ advertisements say or even what your peers say. You need to make your own checklist to measure these schools. We will help you add it up and compare schools based on the parameters you come up with.
